So hello everyone out in the known tumblr universe. READ THIS...or not. The machinations
of a silly young man.
I enjoy reading this title so much. Such a great story with a damn amazing female lead by a damn awesome writer. Gail Simone is fucking awesome (http://gailsimone.tumblr.com/)!
Not sure I like the Artgerm, who did a lot of covers of Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl, doing covers on this volume.

That bit was mine! That day Diana taught a child how to unleash the fucking fury.
Diana is so precious.
Wonder Woman, teaching women and girls how to kick ass like a mother fucking boss since 1941.
Best part of the entire movie
(besides Nathan Fillion being one of the voice actors)
This also gets an instant reblog every time I see it on my dash. THIS IS MY WONDER WOMAN.

Nice little Cliff Chiang piece of work
So as I’ve now posted a few poems I wrote in the past I come to realize they all seem so angsty…oh well I like to think they’re all pretty all right nonetheless
The world ceases its journey for no man,
Time does not stop its lingering grueling march,
The past does not seek to accommodate anyone,
Unforgiving - the great torturer of men’s souls!
The Universe expands never thinking of our goals
The brains passages are corridors where one could get lost in an eternal abyss.
Wrong turn! Stop! It is done.
Darkness with no end in sight…to wait for time.
What a fitting end to be left in the flames.
Like a moth that knew no better.
A soul unworthy.
A
Speck
of dust
Sitting there on a book shelf
With a million companions
But never is it with others
Surrounded by an endless number of particles
each as insignificant as the last
None of them even reach the level of being a smudge
Only few can be that important
Winds swirl and carry it
Floating in the air this speck reaches as high as Icarus’ wings
And as low as Dante’s Inferno
Brought back to the surface
This speck of dust remains.
Alone.
I journeyed through a meadow bright and full of life
A world welcoming and dominated by youthful insouciance
In that field, that so many compared to that of battle, my spirit was freed by the sweet sound of the alluring fife
The simple law of the world I did forget, evanescence!
Hope did abound and the future was so clear
Impetuous in my nature, filled with enough joy to force the strongest Titan to shed many a tear
I slept as my spirit learned to feel so very free
But imagine my woe when I woke and noticed that above me,
The whole time!
was the morning star
Beside me stood the sublime
essence of my own despair
And below me was tartarus, filled by the emptiness of my now dissipated life
So I turned to my ever accommodating host.
I asked him, “when was it that I entered this place?”
To me he did face and answered thusly: “My dear tortured soul,
You entered here so long ago…
that not even I know.”
Since that day, I believe, I have finally remembered
When I entered here
Twas the day that I forgot how gorgeously and strongly the moon shone
The night I thought that the rules of this earth did not apply
When I allowed a guileless nature to feed me a lie
And slept as sorrow charged me with endless fines
I watch an explosion
An open abyss?! A bright light?!
This was years ago, maybe one year, maybe years from now
It sounds like a supernova exploding or something of that nature
The ground screamed, while the air, ever so casually, took a bow
The wind was still. And my soul was swayed
Those never tiring hands ceased to move
The black hole opened
Only to let a star shine through
A galaxy
A planet far greater than mine
I watch it as it drifts away into the night sky
Like eyes from an ancient past it so does shine
A paragon
Marveling at its grace I look on from below….
Its beauty, only does it grow
In a spacecraft full of hope I launch
But, the distance is too great
My will is staunch
As I yearn to reach those heavens most radiant
Oh, to breathe in its fiery glow
I want to burn in its passionate embrace
The universe could not make a more captivating and enthralling site
My neurons could only begin to comprehend its grace
Two colliding particles only begins to explain what it inspires
A poem I wrote, not too long ago now. Yes, it is very amateurish indeed but I like to think it’s ok. Sometimes the best way to express ones self is to write bad poetry =)
Not long ago there was a marvelous beauty by my side…
Fate was kind when it let me share time with thee
In an instant quick as a flash of light
I did experience a lifetime in her deep brown eyes
That warmed me like the thousand suns and made my spirit rise,
At the thought of spending with her all of eternity…
Fate was kind when did let me share time with thee
She is the sight of a garden of roses blossoming
Her knowledge is that which even Athena seeks to attain
She brings happiness that makes you feel like you’re dreaming
Her voice soothes, like a choir of angels, to relieve all pain
Fate was kind when it let me share time with thee
My time with her was rather like a movie
Because I can still see the still frames in my mind
I can hear the laugh that was the music of my life as it does play
These images show a beauty that could make anyone go blind…
Perhaps all the while, the film was too cliché
Fate was kind when it let me share time with thee
Now I don’t know what you must be thinking now
But know that my feelings have grown
Maybe one day our union is something that life will allow
Because forevermore you are the ruler of my heart
A feat you achieved because you stole from this boy
And presented me with a gift I can never forget – joy!
Fate was kind when it let me share time with thee…
